No Fly, No Gun, No Due Process?

It is amazing what is going on in Congress, as well as in this Country, but not in a good way.

If you can not answer simple questions, should you really support something? How do you get on the no-fly list? How do you get off the no-fly list? Do you think that it should cost a person anything to get off of the no-fly list if they are completely innocent?

The liberals say that a permit does not violate your Right to keep and bear arms, but if you say that journalists should be required to get a permit then it is a whole different story. They are willing to infringe a person's Rights with absolutely no due process. I have to wonder how they would feel if it was happening to them.

Politics over the law is what is happening in this Country. It really should not matter if a Judge is liberal or conservative, the outcome should be the law, but it is not.

But back to the main subject. The Democrats held a sit-in, which is really no the way the Country works, but they don't care. In general Democrats are against your Right to keep and bear arms. So this seems to be the reason for their actions, as well as due to the political game. Few know how you get on the no fly list and it can be difficult to get off the list, which is a violation of due process. The Democrats don't seem to care about that.

I have to wonder if the Republicans were to say ok, we will go along with you, but all their other Rights should also be restricted as well. Do you think that the Democrats would go along with that? Guilty until proven innocent is what you would have.

The other part of the problem is that people think that certain concepts are a good idea, but they don't think about any of the details. The real problem is often in the details. Prime examples of that is the no fly list, universal background checks, so-called a-salt weapons bans, the so-called gun show loophole, etc.
